Jewels Private Limited, the owner of Kisna Diamond Jewellery Brand (the largest available jewelry brand in India) has emerged as a winner in the Top 100 SMEs of India and has been celebrated in a function that was especially organized for this purpose by the India SME Forum on August 2, 2014.
The top 100 SMEs were chosen after a stringent evaluation of 63,819 nominations by a jury board, appointed by the India SME Forum. The award was given by G. B. Kakade, the general manager of credit monitoring at the Bank of India, S. Narasimhan, the general manager of credit and V. R. Iyer the managing director at the bank. Chief guests for the evening, included Sumitra Mahajan, the honorable speaker of The Lok Sabha, and Shri Kalraj Mishra, the honorable union cabinet minister.
