Le Vian, Interjewel and Jadia Jewelers Receive Trademarks

RAPAPORT... The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) awarded the trademark "Le Vian Aloha" to Le Vian Corporation of Great Neck, New York on December 30 with registration number 4663890. Le Vian filed for the trademark on July 8 and first used the term in commerce in August 2011. 

In India, the Office of The Trade Marks Registry assigned the trademark "Interjewel A Life of Brilliance" on December 8 to Interjewel Pvt. Ltd. with registration number 2163865. The description of the trademark read, "Treatment of material, cutting and polishing of diamonds and job work included in class 40." Interjewel filed for the trademark on June 22, 2011 and has been using it since January 2008.

Additionally, India assigned the trademark "Jadia Jewelers" to Jadia Jewelers of Bhopal on December 22 with registration number 2498014, under the government's Class 14 definition. Jadia Jewelers applied for the trademark on March 19, 2013 and has been using it since April 2005.
