U.S. Issues 'Science of Sparkle,' 'Fancy Truffle Diamonds' and Other Trademarks

RAPAPORT... The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the trademark "Science of Sparkle" on March 3 to Electronic Commodities Exchange LP of White Plains, New York with registration number 4696388. The firm is operated by Abraham Klein, Martin Klein and Howard Lutnick and the trademark was originally filed on October 26, 2012, according to the filing. The "Science of Sparkle" refers to cut diamonds, diamond jewelry, diamonds, precious stones (real and imitation) and watches and clocks. The trademark was first used in commerce in October 2012.  

The trademark "Joining Hearts Collection" was issued to Coloron Jewelry Inc. of Van Nuys, California  on March 3 with registration number 4696783. The trademark application was filed on September 5, 2013 and refers to jewelry and diamond jewelry, rings, pendants, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and charms. The trademark was first used in commerce in February 2014.

Le Vian Corporation of Great Neck, New York received the trademark "Fancy Truffle Diamonds" on March 3 with registration number 4697467. The diamond brand filed for the trademark on May 20, 2014 and it applies to diamonds as well as jewelry and watches that feature diamonds. "Fancy Truffle Diamonds" was first used in commerce on December 31, 2011. 

The USPTO issued the trademark "Cherished Love First" to Sandeep Diamond Corporation of New York on March 3 with registration number 4696598. The trademark was filed on May 16, 2013 and first used in commerce on June 16, 2014. 

The trademark "Kellmer Jewelers" was issued to Jeffrey Kellmer Jewelers LLC of Haverford, Pennsylvania on March 3 with registration number  4696841. The trademark was filed on October 11, 2013 and has been in use since 1956 to refer to retail jewelry stores and, more recently, online retail department store services, according to the filing.
 
In India, the Office of The Trade Marks Registry approved the trademark "Kama Platinum" for  Kama Schachter Jewelry Pvt. Ltd. of Mumbai on January 12, 2015 with registration number 2276781. The trademark refers to jewelry that incorporates diamonds, precious stones, precious metals and their alloys and goods in precious metals or coated therewith, not included in other classes, jewelry, precious stones, horological and chronometric instruments. The trademark falls under  Class 14 of the trademark classification system.
