RAPAPORT... Centurion announced three upcoming Select by Centurion invitation-only shows that are planned to take place in Illinois, Texas and Connecticut.
The first event takes place at The Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago on August 16 and 17, which is timed to coincide with the buying needs of the region's fine jewelry stores ahead of Christmas season. Organizers stated that 50 top designers and manufacturers expect to exhibit, and there will be educational seminars for retailers each morning and a special cocktail party on opening night.
In a joint statement, Select by Centurion managers, Joe Carullo, Bryan Cohen and Howard Hauben said, “We are excited to be coming to the really fun major city of Chicago in a venue that our retailer guests and exhibitors are all going to cherish. There is so much to do and see in Chicago, making a weekend with Select by Centurion Chicago a real treat.” In addition, organizers found that the Chicago Air & Water Show is taking place a short distance away. Select by Centurion opens next in Dallas, August 30 and 31, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. The event expects 55 design and manufacturing exhibitors and will provide retail education seminars and an opening night party at Perry's Steakhouse.
“We can't wait to return to the elegant Ritz Carlton Dallas and its impeccable venue and service,” said the show's managers. “Dallas is the leading business hub of the Southwest and has unlimited great restaurants and attractions for the attending jeweler. We highly recommend making a weekend out of it and coming in on Saturday and then staying with us for Select by Centurion to make a perfect business and pleasure trip.” Lastly, Select by Centurion will host 60 design and manufacturing exhibitors from September 20 to 21 at the Fox Tower at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, which is easy for retailers across New England to reach. The venue includes educational seminars and a cocktail party on opening night at the High Rollers Club.
