Signet, Michael Hill and Damiani Receive Trademark Approval

RAPAPORT...  The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the trademark "Signet Direct Diamond Sourcing Ltd." to the Signet Group on June 23 with registration number 4758260. Signet filed for the trademark on July 13, 2013, consisting of the words "SIGNET DIRECT" with an image of a gemstone after the first word and with "DIAMOND SOURCING LTD" in smaller letters underneath.

Michael Hill Franchise Pty. Ltd. of Australia received USPTO approval for the trademark "Captured Moments" on June 23 with registration number 4758189. The jewelry retailer filed for the trademark on December 18, 2012, consisting of  the term "CAPTURED MOMENTS" below a design of two stylized beads and  decorative scrollwork.

The USPTO issued the trademark "Love. Brilliantly." to the Electronic Commodities Exchange LP,  Abraham Klein and  Martin Klein on June 30 with registration number 4760645. The trademark was filed on October 26, 2012 and first used in commerce on October 10, 2012. 

Damiani International B.V. Ltd. of the Netherlands received USPTO approval for the trademark "D.Lace" on June 30 with registration number 4760739. Damiani filed for the trademark on March 27, 2013 and first used it in commerce on April 9, 2015.

The USPTO issued the trademark "Birmingham Jewelers" to Birmingham Jewelry Inc. of Sterling Heights, Michigan on June 23 with registration number 4760928. The retailer filed for the trademark on August 30, 2013 and first used it on April 26, 1978.

In India, the Office of The Trade Marks Registry approved the trademark "Faberge" for Faberge Ltd. of the Cayman Islands on May 4 with registration number 1448460. Faberge filed for the trademark on April 27, 2006 under the Class 14 trademark classification of precious metals and their alloys, jewelry, precious stones, horological and chronometric instruments.

Rajinder Jewellers in Patiala in Punjab received approval from the Office of The Trade Marks Registry for "Rajinder Jewellers" on May 4 with registration number 1943031. The trademark was filed on March 29, 2010, under Class 14, and has been used since April 1, 2006 as it pertains to gold, silver and diamond jewelry, precious and semi-precious stones.
