RAPAPORT... Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company announced last week that it would provide insurance coverage for smart jewelry with the same worldwide personal jewelry insurance protection it offers for traditional jewelry.
- Jewelers Mutual covers various brands of smart jewelry ,including products by Apple, Bulgari, Cuff, Fredrique Constant, MICA (by Intel), Ringly, Swarovski, and TAG Heuer.
- Smart wearables that will be covered include not only smart watches but also high-end fitness trackers.
- Insurance will cover against theft, damage, loss and mysterious disappearance anywhere in the world.
