RAPAPORT... The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) made two senior appointments to its standards and impacts team in London with the recent hire of Anne-Marie Fleury and Bethan Herbert.

Fleury joins as standards and impacts director, working alongside RJC executive director Andrew Bone and chief operations officer Catherine Sproule, taking responsibility for providing strategic and technical leadership in standards development, certification, assurance, impact measurement and reporting.

Fleury was previously a freelance consultant and associate at strategy, communications and engagement services provider Futureye and worked for ten years at the International Council on Mining and Metals.

Meanwhile, certification and impacts manager Bethan Herbert joined from testing, inspection and certification group Bureau Veritas in August. She is responsible for implementing the council’s work in certification, impact measurement and reporting.

Bone said, “Anne-Marie brings valuable know-how to the RJC, while Bethan’s understanding of the audit process will be an asset to our members and the management team.”
