RAPAPORT... International jewelry, diamond and watch buyer CIRCA opened its new office in the Union Square neighborhood of San Francisco. The new base, after “years” in the U.S. city’s financial district, will better accommodate the demand for the company’s services in the region, according to a statement January 21.

Those present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony included CIRCA’s chief executive officer Laurence Grunstein and president Richard Tilles.

Established in 2000, CIRCA has “redefined” the experience of selling jewelry, the statement said. It has offices in North America, Europe and Asia. The new San Francisco office will be led by Thuyvi Tran, who has more than 10 years’ experience in the luxury jewelry industry.
