Alex and Ani Hires Senior Execs in Global Push

RAPAPORT... Alex and Ani recruited two retail veterans as the jewelry company prepares for a worldwide expansion.

New CFO Bob Woodruff has more than 35 years of finance experience, including 20 years in senior roles at Nike, the world-recognized apparel brand, and most recently as VP and CFO of footwear subsidiary Converse. Woodruff was hired to manage financial systems and drive fiscal growth globally, reporting to chief operating officer Cindy DiPietrantonio, the company said.

Vince Montemarano, who joined as senior vice president of international sales and retail, has 25 years’ track record working in global distribution channels and was most recently executive VP of international for apparel and footwear brand James Perse. He reports to Suzanne Turcotte, chief administrative officer and general counsel.

“Montemarano's vast knowledge of global distribution, international sales, operations, business development and retail will be vital as Alex and Ani expands into more global markets and realigns it retail footprint to support its digital growth,” the company said.

Both Woodruff and Montemarano will be based in the company's global headquarters in Cranston, Rhode Island.
