Michael Hill Reshuffles Australia Management

RAPAPORT... Michael Hill has restructured its Australian leadership team
in an effort to focus more attention on its core brand. 
Tishara Mina, general manager for the retailer’s Emma &
Roe label (pictured, right), will take on responsibility for six of the company’s 13 regions in
addition to overseeing Emma & Roe on an interim basis. Kevin Stock (left), who
previously oversaw the entire Michael Hill brand, will be responsible for the
other seven regions.
In March, Michael Hill announced it would shut 24 of its 30
Emma & Roe stores in Australia and New Zealand by June 30 due to lackluster
sales. The company said it would focus on repositioning its core brand.
