RAPAPORT... Victoria McKay has resigned as chief operating officer of the London Diamond Bourse (LDB), the exchange said Monday.

Executive assistant Stacey Aylott will become operations manager, taking over the day-to-day management of the bourse.

McKay (pictured) — who held the position for six years — will remain with the bourse in the short term to complete ongoing projects, such as moving the exchange to its new location. Afterwards, she will work as a consultant to assist with managing the launch.

“Victoria has played a critical role in positioning the LDB as a progressive bourse worldwide, and has transformed us from an inwardly focused private members’ club into a respected professional trade association with a global profile,” bourse president Alan Cohen said.
