Diamcor Sells $1.4M of Rough in 3Q

 Diamcor Mining’s rough-diamond sales rose 62% year on year to $1.4 million in the third fiscal quarter.

The company sold 7,162 carats during the period which ends December 31, for an average price of $196 per carat, it said last week.

At its December tender, the last of the quarter, the miner garnered $303,138 from the sale of 1,905 carats, at an average price of $159 per carat. Diamcor had offered approximately 2,257 carats at the tender. The company will include the unsold balance of just over 351 carats in its first tender of the fourth fiscal quarter, which will take place in January.

Diamcor owns and operates the Krone-Endora at Venetia project in South Africa.
