Watches of Switzerland has hired Kelly Yoch as director of client relations, a new position for the company, it said Monday.

Yoch, who was most recently the senior North American consultant for Patek Philippe watches at Tiffany & Co., also served as the head of fine jewelry at Saks Fifth Avenue, and as the general manager of luxury-watch label Tourneau. She will be responsible for developing the Watches of Switzerland brands and furthering their relationships with clients.

A well-known figure in the timepiece industry, Yoch was crowned “the most important person in the watch world” and “the high priestess of horology” in a 2020 article by GQ.

“[This is] a pivotal time for Watches of Switzerland in the United States,” said Watches of Switzerland executive vice president David Hurley. “Kelly’s dedication to her clients embodies the level of hospitality and personalization that Watches of Switzerland has become known for in the industry.”

Yoch will report to Damian Otwinowski, vice president of retail for Watches of Switzerland New York and Boston. The company operates 24 stores in the US under the Watches of Switzerland and Mayors names.
