SCS Global Services has hired Brandee Dallow as vice president of sustainability for luxury goods.

In her new position, Dallow will help support the international expansion of SCS’s certification program for fine jewelry, accessories and apparel, SCS said Monday.

Dallow is the founder of Fine Girl Luxury Brand Building and Communications. She was most recently the regional membership, business development and engagement lead for the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). A longtime industry veteran, Dallow has worked with miners De Beers and Rio Tinto, and was president of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA).

One of the first projects Dallow will tackle is a diamond sustainability certification standard, the first in a series of sustainability standards SCS is developing for the jewelry sector, it said.

“[Dallow’s] professionalism, strong marketing-communications knowledge and skills, and deep commitment to environmental and social progress, including fulfillment of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, are fully aligned with the SCS’s corporate mission,” said SCS CEO Stanley Rhodes.
