Topic - "Diamonds:
2010 – The Next Decade."
Speakers will discuss
the future outlook of the diamond industry with an emphasis on the economic, demographic
and political factors globalizing diamond demand and their impact on diamond prices.
Topics will include diamond finance, rough supply, manufacturing, commoditization
and fair trade jewelry. A special presentation will be made in honor of the 30th
anniversary of the Rapaport Diamond Report. Proceeds from the conference
will be donated to Jewelers for Children and the newly founded Fair Trade Diamond
and Jewelry Association.
