KGK Group to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

(Rapaport...November 17, 2005) KGK Enterprises plans to mark its centennial in December as a diamond and jewelry manufacture by first reiterating is commitment to the Make a Wish Foundation of India. The group pledged to make 100 young dreams come true across the country.
Company founder, the late, Shri Keshrimalji Kothari is grandfather to current company chairman Navrattan Kothari. It remains a family run business with each division of the group headed by senior members of the Kothari family. The gemstone business is managed by Vinay Kothari and Prakash Kothari while the diamond and jewelry business is headed by Surendra Kothari, Sanjay Kothari, Sandeep Kothari, and Prashant Kothari.
According to the company, the KGK Group has also evolved to include investments in both the Indian entertainment and real estate business. Navrattan established the Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research Centre as a specialized cancer treatment hospital in Jaipur, India in 1996. The hospital is equipped with state of the art cancer research and treatment techniques.
"Now not only is Navrattanji an exemplary leader in the diamond industry but also the gem responsible for beautification of a heritage Indian Palace and backing of Asia’s largest commercial multiplex," KGK wrote in a statement.
To celebrate the centennial, long time clients will be treated to "a special journey to Rajasthan," where KGK will showcase their family legacy. Guests will be treated to a two-day event, beginning December 9, which plans a Polo match and a tour of the family’s residence.
The KGK Group is a Diamond Trading Company sightholder and has manufacturing units in India, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, and Russia. Offices were opened in Germany, Spain, London, and the United Arab Emirates.
