Szul.com Launches Racy 'Rock Her World' Series on YouTube

RAPAPORT... Armed with a promotional video that many YouTubers may consider "normal" in today's unrestricted Internet age,  jewelry retailer Szul.com launched a Rock Her World video series on the popular video sharing website for the Christmas holiday season. The videos (two as of mid-day November 26,) shot of the upper torso show a woman wearing a diamond pendant as she simulates -- well, you can determine for yourself.  http://www.youtube.com/user/shilp123

Szul.com video creators listed the video under comedy with only the search tags rock, her, world. The videos were posted within the past week and announced this day, but so far have been viewed about 800 times collectively as of press time.

The company announced the video promotions by stating: "This holiday season, Szul.com, a leading online retailer of diamond, gemstone, and pearl jewelry, is breaking the mold -- and, probably raising a few eyebrows, too."

"The company has launched Rock Her World, a sexy video ad campaign designed to tap the power of social networks, blogs, and various community-based sites. The campaign, which is part of an aggressive viral marketing strategy targeting Generation 2.0., features a beautiful young woman, diamond jewelry, and a sexy, adult storyline," the company stated.

Manesh Patel, Szul's vice president of marketing said that the company is going after a young, hip generation of consumers who are not likely to be "pulled in by traditional holiday ads, these videos are deliberately less romantic than those typical of our competitors."

Szul is a private company and claims its annual revenue is about $20 million.
