RAPAPORT... Ignatz (Itzu) Kaszirer passed away at the age of 90.  At the peak of his career, in the 1980's, he was Antwerp's leading polished diamond dealer and helped many survivors of the Holocaust make a living in Antwerp's diamond district.

Kaszirer played a leading role initiating and developing Russia's polished diamond sector. For a number of years he was the world's largest importer and distributor of Russian diamonds.
