RAPAPORT... Watch brand 88 Rue du Rhone unveiled its Double 8 Origin Lucky Lady Diamond timepiece. The watch is described as bold and elegant with an air of mystery. The eye is immediately drawn to the display of diamonds that dance around the dial bringing attention to the lucky number "8," a unique symbol for the brand. Lucky Lady features a steel 35-mm. case, coated in extra resistant black PVD and an alligator-style leather strap. The face is accented by the number "88" in a delicate pattern reminiscent of fine lace. At the outer edge of the motif, the company added 10 Wesselton diamonds to punctuate the hours, nesting in the 8s' outline. A special jewel rests on top of the only numeral index, positioned at 8 o'clock, to represent the brand's signature and the luck this number is reputed to bring. As the very first introduction to 88 Rue du Rhone, the Double 8 Origin collection reflects a definitive tone and vision of its founders, Elie and Pierre Bernheim.
