RAPAPORT... The New York Diamond Dealers Club (DDC) initiated and planned three trade missions to major overseas bourses as part of its ongoing effort to improve business for club members. The DDC's president, Reuven Kaufman, scheduled  upcoming trade missions to  Dubai, Israel and Shanghai with the purpose of these visits being to enable club members to sell goods on the trading floors of WFDB-affiliated bourses and to establish working relationships with  members of these clubs.

Kaufman announced the following schedule for trade missions: The week of February 10, 2013, the club will visit the Dubai Diamond Exchange; for the week of March 17, the group heads to the  Israel Diamond Exchange and finally, for the week of April 15, club members will trade at the Shanghai Diamond Exchange.

Additionally, and due to the success of Israel Diamond Week at the DDC in December, Kaufman arranged a second Israel Diamond Week, which is scheduled for April 29 to May 2 in Manhattan.

There are limitations on the number of participating members from the DDC that may  visit overseas bourses on these missions, thus Kaufman strongly recommended that interested parties contact the DDC immediately to reserve their space.
