RAPAPORT... Devi Jewels opened its first showroom in Dubai this month at the commercial and cultural hub, the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The opening was inaugurated by DIFC's chief properties officer, John Harris, and Devi Jewels' founder,  Nirav Sanghvi.  In addition, the showroom hosted a fine jewelry exhibit from Jewels Emporium to highlight the exclusive jewelry collection, Masterstroke.

Sanghvi said, "Devi Jewels is a very unique concept where we celebrate jewelry as an art form. Jewelry making, specifically the kind that we are bringing to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), takes  skill and finesse that is incomparable and can never be duplicated. We cater to that audience who are connoisseurs of this art. We are very pleased that Jewels Emporium has chosen Devi Jewels as a platform to showcase their imaginative masterpieces in the UAE."

Anup Bohra, the managing director of Jewels Emporium, said, "Our collection Masterstroke, as the name suggests, comprises of masterfully crafted pieces that are rare in both their design and technique of making. The collection is traditional and modern, bold and delicate, all at the same time. We are happy to bring this range to Dubai, which is easily one of the most sophisticated fashion destinations of the world."

Other designers featured at Devi Jewels include Sameer Bansali, the designer of La Reina and Sweta Jain, the designer of Ghoshwara. Devi Jewels also carries  collections from Faith Ann Kiely, Royal Asscher and Parulina.
