Jewelers of America Unveils Educational Schedule for Upcoming Show

RAPAPORT... Jewelers of America (JA) will offer two days of free
seminars on March 13 to 14 at the JA New York Show. The show runs March 13 to 15.
Leading the program is a
keynote presentation by Nicole Leinbach Reyhle, a founder and publisher of Retail Minded, and co-founder of the
Independent Retailer Conference, on “Tips, Tricks and Techniques to Maximize
Your In-Store Experience.” The seminar will take place March 14 at 10.30 a.m.
in the JA New York Education Center.
The trade body’s education
program will also feature two interactive seminars on March 13 at 10.30 a.m.
and 11.50 a.m., presented by sales experts Janice Mack and Debbie Hiss. Attendees
are invited to share their experiences and insights about “courting the bridal
customer” and tips for keeping existing customers.
Separately, Jewelers for
Children, in collaboration with JA, is hosting “Celebrate New York,” a cocktail
party and silent auction at events venue 404 NYC. All proceeds benefit Jewelers
for Children. JA members receive a discounted price.
JA also said it is
offering exams for its Professional Certification in Sales and Management on
March 13 during the show.
