RAPAPORT... Swiss family-owned watch manufacturer Carl F. Bucherer has opened a boutique in Lucerne, the city where the company was founded in 1888.

Chinese actress Li Bingbing, the global ambassador of the brand, was present at the opening ceremony, which followed the recent launch of a Carl F. Bucherer boutique in Shanghai.

The watchmaker unveiled the Manero Peripheral Boutique Edition (pictured), a limited-edition timepiece, to mark the opening of the store in the Swiss city. It has a blue-galvanized dial inspired by Lake Lucerne.

“As a Swiss watch manufacturer that has a very deep connection to Lucerne, opening our new boutique here is a very special and unique event,” said Sascha Moeri, Carl F. Bucherer’s CEO.
