USPTO Approves Trademarks for Tolkowsky, Lazare Kaplan, Merit Diamond

RAPAPORT... The U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) issued the trademark ''Invented By Tolkowsky, Perfected By Tolkowsky'' on April 2 to Jean Paul Tolkowsky of Antwerp, with the registration number  4312111. The trademark was originally filed on June 11, 2012.

Tolkowsky will use the trademark for jewelry containing diamonds and gemstones, loose diamonds and precious metals and their alloys, according to the application.

The USPTO also issued the trademark ''You Just Know'' to Lazare Kaplan International on April 2, with the registration number  4312143. Lazare Kaplan filed its application for the trademark on June 19, 2012 and described its use as being for diamonds and diamond jewelry.

Merit Diamond Corporation was granted the trademark ''Juno Lucina'' with the registration number 4314589. Merit originally applied for the trademark on March 27, 2012 and the USPTO approved it on April 2 for use in jewelry.
