RAPAPORT... Kimber-X Resources Corporation, which is registered in Nevada, reported having acquired its first diamond property. The junior miner formed with the express purpose to explore and produce diamonds in the southern region of Saskatchewan, Canada.

According to the Kimber-X Resources announcement, "As opposed to the blood diamonds, which have been the problem with traditional African sources such as Sierra Leone and Angola, Canada's diamonds are clean in that they are not used to finance terror, war, and weapons as diamonds have been in other parts of the world."

As its first acquisition Kimber-X Resources acquired an option on a 100 percent interest in a claim block located adjacent to a claim by Shear Minerals Ltd. "This project is known as the Stella Polaris Project and it has been disclosed that there is the presence of a large pyrope dominated kimberlite indicator dispersion plume in the Wyoming craton in southern Saskatchewan," the company reported to investors.

The claims are located approximately 150 km southwest of Regina, Saskatchewan along the border with the United States and are accessible by road year round.

Shares in Kimber-X Resources closed February 8, 2007 up 4.5 percent to $2.10.
