RAPAPORT... Venus Jewel, a manufacturer based in India, created a real-time interface in partnership with Polygon to market solitiare offerings. Venus already sells 40 percent of goods through its own website, but the new partnership would advance its reach across the world, the company stated.

“For us, online marketing isn’t the future, it is the present,” said Venus CEO Anil Shah. “Whilst our own website gives us good exposure, Polygon will surely advantage thousands of additional buyers based in multifarious small and big locations across especially in strategic markets like the U.S., besides of course the entire globe, in contact with our firm and our inventory, in a fast, efficient and reliable manner.”

Polygon president Jacques Voorhees said of the partnership: “A real-time upload feed of inventory onto the Polygon platform, from a Diamond Trading Company sightholder, is a new and important step in delivering productivity and efficiency to the market."

After having tested the interface model, Voorhees added that they are able to provide direct-interfaces for other manufacturers.
