RAPAPORT... The UN Security Council unanimously renewed diamond sanctions and an arms embargo on Cote d'Ivoire for another year as the West African nation continues to battle with security issues.
The council stated that all parties shall take the necessary measures to prevent the direct or indirect supply, sale or transfer of rough diamonds from Cote d'Ivoire.
