Sword pendant
by Parulina
|
Growing up in the United Kingdom (U.K.), designer Parul Kuki
Seth was inspired by Gothic cathedrals, rock music and high fashion. She even
apprenticed with fashion icon Vivienne Westwood. Kuki Seth’s Indian heritage
infused her with a love of brilliant color. It was all of those elements that
became the vocabulary for Kuki Seth’s jewelry collection, Parulina. The line is comprised of richly colored gemstones
glittering with diamond accents in bold designs that capture the essence of
exotic, sun-filled places around the globe.

Award-winning Australian jeweler Calleija has partnered with
luxury automobile maker
Aston Martin to produce an elegant jewelry collection.
The partners share a passion for fine quality and top craftsmanship. Designer
John Calleija was influenced by the Aston Martin One-77 Supercar. The
collection, which was six years in the making, features a new cut —
the Astar,
based on the contours of the Aston Martin grille, the lines of which are
repeated in the diamond. In addition, Calleija incorporates pink diamonds from
the Argyle mine in some
of the pieces. The collection debuts May 16
at the
luxury automobile’s showroom in
Mayfair, London.
