RAPAPORT... Diamond jewelry designer Suzy Fabrikant, along with Boston's elite jewelers Alpha Omega, bestowed a one of a kind diamond tiara with 25 carats of diamonds set in platinum on film actress Scarlett Johansson. The 23-year-old actress was named Harvard University's Hasty Pudding Theatricals 2007 woman of the year at a ceremony on February 15, 2007.

The tiara was a contemporary whimsical swirl pattern that, according to Fabrikant, reflected her own delicate, elegant diamond jewelry designs. Fabrikant is a fourth generation descendent from the world famous House of Fabrikant Diamonds, the oldest diamond company in the United States.

"I am a great admirer of Scarlett Johansson's work and it is such a wonderful honor to be a part of this terrific event today," Fabrikant said at the time.

Alpha Omega Jewelers, who has had a long standing relationship with Harvard University and the Hasty Pudding theatricals, is one of Boston's most elite jewelers and official sponsor of the Hasty Pudding theatrical awards.

Raman Handa, president of Alpha Omega, said, "We are so delighted to be part of this wonderful Harvard tradition and to have an opportunity to recognize the wonderfully talented and gifted Scarlett Johansson."
