This international competition is intended to showcase the extraordinary brilliance and fire of Grunberger Precision Cut Diamonds by featuring them in original jewelry creations from the world’s finest recognized and emerging jewelry designers. This competition is open to all jewelry designers, manufacturers and bench jewelers. It is an opportunity for jewelry designers, large and small, to showcase their skills artistry and craftsmanship utilizing Grunberger’s Ideal Cut Hearts and Arrows Diamonds. All entries must meet only three basic design requirements: 1. The design must exclusively utilize Grunberger Ideal Cut Hearts and Arrows Diamonds except for center stones. 2. All designs must be executed in a precious metal (gold, platinum or palladium). 3. All designs must fall into one of the design categories as determined by Grunberger Diamonds. This is a new and unique competition. The jewelry designs for the 2013 Grunberger jewelry design competition will be judged by consumers who will vote for their favorite designs at social media sites. Each entry will be professionally photographed and posted online with a description of the jewelry creation and a biography of the designer. Viewers will vote directly online for their favorite designs. Consumers who vote on popular social networking sites can also enter into a drawing to receive one of the winning designs free. Winners will be announced on February 14, 2014 and will receive significant recognition through both consumer and trade media.
