RAPAPORT... Kimora Lee Simmons celebrated 'giving Green' ahead of New York's fashion week on the evening of September 7. Simmons' evening fashion show, attended by jewelry company partner Russell Simmons along with a list of celebrities (including Blood Diamond movie star Djimon Hounsou,) armed show models with the Simmons Jewelry Company's Green Bracelet.

The Green Bracelet sells for $125 and more than $20 from the sale of each piece goes into the fund according to Simmons Jewelry.

Kimora also hosted a special VIP dinner following her show in honor of the Diamond Empowerment Fund.

Russell said after Kimora's event, "The Green Bracelet symbolizes giving and there's nothing sexier than that. I can't believe how gracious and sweet the celebrity community has been in supporting it."

The company concluded that those who wore the Green Bracelet and expressed "their support of helping Africans" at Fashion Rocks the previous night included Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Mary J. Blige, Tyra Banks, Mischa Barton, Nicky Hilton and LL Cool J, among others.
