RAPAPORT... The H Boutique will open on August 23 in the Inn at the 5th in Eugene, Oregon. This boutique concept was created by third-generation Ritchie cousins whose grandfather, Harry Ritchie, founded Harry Ritchie’s Jewelers more than 50 years ago. “We want to redefine the way people shop for jewelry,” said Tobey Ritchie, the H Boutique’s creative director and vice president of marketing for Harry Ritchie’s Jewelers. “The H Boutique is a destination that blends fine and fashion jewelry and celebrates art and style in a bold, modern, relevant way.”  The H Boutique will offer concierge-style shopping, in-room delivery, personal styling and complimentary petit espresso for guests. It has also integrated with the hotel so that guests may dial the H Boutique directly from their room, browse in-room H Boutique service menus, and charge H Boutique purchases to their room. Erik Cole, the general manager of Inn at the 5th, said, “The H Boutique completes the Inn at the 5th experience with a level of sophistication unmatched in Eugene. It’s the perfect complement to the personal service you’ll find throughout the hotel and market.” The store's other features and services include The Bauble Bar, where a drink menu features signature hot and cold beverages from local business partners LeBar and Marche Provisions; The Belle Bar, a jewelry vanity for mini make-up touch-ups by in-house stylists; The Sparkle Bar, where stylists clean and inspect their shoppers' jewelry and The Watch Wall, billed as Eugene’s largest assortment of timepieces. H Boutique will also custom-design jewelry for guests. While the H Boutique will rotate various artwork throughout the store, the first round for the opening is a collection of watercolors from Irina Kaygorodova of Prague, who has incorporated signature jewelry from Tacori and Carlo Viani in her paintings. Guests who visit the H Boutique in August and September can enter a drawing to win an exclusive Michael Kors style package with a tote bag in black and gunmetal, along with sunglasses, watch and wrap scarf.
