Designer Lines

By Amber Michelle
Rock star and model-turned-jewelry-designer Efva Attling recently debuted her spring collection. Her minimalist style incorporates messages into each collection. Attling has added gold and diamond earrings and pendants to her Love Beads & Stars collection. She has also created the Rose Petal collection with earrings and pendant modeled on petals of the flower in rose gold. A black and white photo of Bianca Jagger from the 1970s influenced the gold and diamond Bianca necklace.

Laura Medine has launched a jewelry line of handmade one-of-a-kind pieces. Growing up in Italy, Medine was instilled with a deep passion for fashion. The Laura Medine Collection draws upon the state of well-being and nature to create elegant, romantic designs. The collection is centered around a moonstone accented with diamonds and alexandrite set in 18-karat gold. The line is themed around celestial, flora and fauna motifs.
New York City–based designer Alexandra Mor has found inspiration in diamonds and jade. She created a one-of-a-kind belt buckle set with a piece of antique carved jade surrounded by gray baroque pearls and diamonds. She also created earring jackets from vintage, engraved Chinese jade discs. The earrings, which are also one-of-a-kind, feature diamond centers.
Tacori teamed up with blogger Wendy Nguyen, of Wendy’s Lookbook, and created The Promise Bracelet. Nguyen has been working closely with Tacori since she was named brand ambassador in May 2013. The design is motivated by the idea of a promise between two people — spouse, friend, family or colleague. The bangle features a lock-and-key closure. It is available through Tacori and also on Wendy’s Lookbook website.
